Dr Abraham Varghese has rich experience in 3 different industrial establishments in Kerala for 3 decades as an Occupational Health Physician - the Naval Armament Depot, Indian Aluminum Company & Binani Zinc Ltd. At present, he is in charge of IMA Blood Bank, Cochin.
Dr Abraham Varghese was the IMA State President in 2019-20. At present, he is the Chairman of IMAGE, the Biomedical Waste Treatment plant of IMA at Palakkad.
Graduated from Medical College, Alleppey and has a Fellowship in Industrial Medicine from Central Labour Institute, Bombay.
He was awarded the Best Factory Medical Officer in 2009 by Ministry of Labour, Kerala.
Dr Abraham Varghese had also served as the Honorary Secretary of National Safety Council, Kerala Chapter.
